June 22, 2022. To act in favor of carbon neutrality by offering solutions for sustainable mobility, Barjane, Engie Solutions and Carrefour open the doors of the new natural gas vehicle (NGV) filling station in Parc Saint-Charles, Fuveau, France.
The use of biomethane for vehicles allows a 75% reduction in CO2 emissions, the elimination of 99% of fine particle emissions and a 50% reduction in noise pollution. This new station ensures the supply of alternative fuel to vehicles in the sector, and is especially at the service of logistics activities located in Parc Saint-Charles.
Third facility of its kind in the South Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, this project marks a new stage in the ecological transition of the territory and its stakeholders.
From Barjane they thank Engie Solutions and Carrefour for their trust, the Fuveau City Council for its support for the entire development of Parc Saint-Charles, Union TLF that supports the actors in logistics and transport, the inauguration participants, and all the actors that act in favor of sustainable mobility.
