April 22, 2022. Rivamadrid has acquired five Piaggo Porter NP6 vehicles powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) from Cocentro, a Piaggio and Iveco dealer in Madrid, Spain, for its gardening and street cleaning services.
Rivamadrid is the municipal services company of Rivas Vaciamadrid, a municipality in the Community of Madrid, known for being a benchmark for its social and environmental commitment. It is the entity in charge of such essential tasks in the daily life of citizens as the cleaning of streets and squares, waste management, maintenance and cleaning of parks and gardens and cleaning of public buildings, schools and other institutional buildings, among other services.
To meet the needs of gardening and street cleaning services, Rivamadrid has entrusted the Piaggo Porter NP6 through public tender.
