January 15, 2022. In the Ordinary Annual Assembly of the Argentine Compressed Natural Gas Association (CAGNC), held on January 13, 2022, the new Board of Directors has been elected, integrated by Carlos Grisolía (Galileo Technologies SA) as President; Gustavo Salustri (GNC Salustri S.A.) as Vice President; Carlos Scioli (Agira S.A.) as Secretary; and Gustavo Frontera (ASPRO) as Treasurer. Also part of the executive body are María Eugenia Fracchia (Inflex S.A.) as Deputy Secretary; and Sebastián Karavías (Inprocil S.A.) as Deputy Treasurer.
Grisolía, who will continue to head the institution, stated: “Being elected for a third term is a reason to experience strong feelings. One is to thank all the associates for their accompaniment and support in the past management, and the other is commitment to carry out the actions that the sector needs.”
Likewise, he highlighted the coincidence in the objectives that the entity will pursue in the coming years: “On the one hand, to obtain support in all areas for the development of the use of natural gas as fuel in freight and passenger transport, firmly based on the fact that it is undoubtedly the most convenient transition fuel for our country. Second, but also very important, to consolidate what has been achieved with CNG in light vehicles, not only increasing the dissemination of the convenience of its use but also fighting for the updating of the regulatory framework that regulates it.”
Since its foundation, in October 1983, the Argentine CNG Association brings together companies that make up the entire value chain of industries and services dedicated to natural gas in the South American country.
