June 28, 2023. Two new CNG Iveco S-Way have just joined the Delmonico Dorel Group fleet. These are trucks of 44 tons and 460 hp, equipped with pneumatic suspensions. These vehicles will be assigned to regional missions to supply material merchants, construction sites, concrete and asphalt plants, etc.
Founded in 1899 and located in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the Delmonico Dorel group supplies the local market with materials for construction and public works. The family group relies on its “AMBITION 4D” project to continue its development by putting eco-responsibility at the forefront.
Thus, 5 years ago, in line with its eco-responsible approach, the company bought its first CNG vehicles and created its own filling station based on the Andancette site. Since then, it has continued on this path and natural gas now represents 10% of its fleet of 110 units. “CNG allows us to drastically reduce our CO2 and NOx emissions, as well as cut noise in half, while maintaining the performance of diesel vehicles. To support us in this process, we naturally turned to Iveco, with whom we have been working for almost 50 years and who shares our values”, added Teddy Delmonico, Deputy General Manager of Delmonico Dorel.
