May 6, 2021. Six out of ten Móvil Qrobús units use natural gas, which helps improve air quality and reduce environmental pollution in the metropolitan area of Querétaro, Mexico.
According to figures from the National Commission for the Efficient Use of Energy, the use of natural gas helps reduce up to 90% of nitrous oxide (NOx), 65% of carbon monoxide (CO) and 30% of carbon dioxide emissions. (CO2), compared to using gasoline or diesel. In addition, noise pollution is reduced by half, due to its quieter operation.
“At Qrobús we integrate this technology into urban transport, through mobility solutions, which have a direct correlation with the air quality of the inhabitants,” said Carlos Toulet, the company’s Communications and Customer Service Manager.
