May 22, 2025. Rolande has started construction of a new Bio-LNG filling station in Großmehring, near the German A9, a key corridor for north-south transport in Europe. The strategically located location underlines the ambition to make sustainable transport accessible and reliable. The station is scheduled to open in Q3 2025.
With the new station, Rolande is further expanding its European network. Hauliers using Bio-LNG will soon be able to refuel even more easily along one of Germany’s busiest logistics routes. The station is accessible 24/7 and designed for a fast, safe and efficient refuelling experience.
“With this station, we are taking an important step in our mission to make sustainable heavy transport possible,” said CEO Jolon van der Schuit. “We are building a network that already allows transporters and shippers to realise direct CO2 reductions, without concessions on range or reliability.”
